Biography

Born in Lebanon, and moved to England in 1983. Won the Radio 4 Dotdotdot short story competition 2001, and has a story included in the Uncut Diamonds anthology (Maia Press, 2003).

Author of The Double in the Fiction of R L Stenvenson, Wilkie Collins and Daphne Du Maurier (Peter Lang, 2003) and has co-edited various books for Usborne. Winner of the University of Hertfordshire Writing Award (2007).

A Girl Made of Dust (4th Estate, 2008) has also been published in the United States, Canada, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, Germany and Lithuania.
